Naomi wanted a bike that would hold up on rough Western PA gravel and singletrack. She also wanted super low gearing (26x42) to conquer the steep climbs!

My custom steel fork with thru-axle, flat mount disc brakes and fender mounts.

This Strada Fango is all business with it’s Rene Herse Juniper Ridge 650x48mm knobby tires.

Plenty of clearance up front with this Pacenti MTB fork crown. And it looks pretty sexy too!

My tidy fastback seat lug with the internal routing for the rear derailleur housing.

A head tube extension helps get the handlebars a bit higher without a huge stack of spacers, and the rear derailleur housing ducks into the top tube cleanly. I also added bosses under the top tube for a future framebag.

Out back, this SRAM 10x42 cassette ensures there’s no hill too steep! We used a Wolf Tooth Tanpan so the XT rear derailleur would work with the Ultegra shifters.

Naomi sets up her brakes Euro style (right hand front brake) so I switched the internal port over to the driveside so the cable housing loops away from the head tube.
