Adding a Headbadge to an existing Ellis
I’m offering my classic headbadge to existing Ellis customers to retrofit on your Ellis frame. Since the badges are slightly larger than my head tube decals, they neatly cover the existing logo.
There are two mounting options:
Screw-on — this requires two very small holes to be drilled and tapped in the head tube. If you’re local to my shop and would like me to do the drilling, I’m happy to accommodate.
Adhesive — If you’re farther afield, or don’t want holes drilled in your head tube, I have badges without the screw-on tabs. These are secured to the head tube with automotive double-sided adhesive.
These badges are made of white bronze; they have a very slight yellow/bronze color to them. If you’re pairing with stainless head lugs or just would prefer a purer silver look, a sterling option is available.
