My bikes are steel, a material that allows for maximum creativity and an amazing ride. Hand carved lugs are a specialty, and I'd be happy to work with you on unique designs.

I use a variety of types of tubing, based on individual rider's needs.

Fit

Even the most beautiful bicycle will end up in a corner gathering dust if it doesn't fit the rider.

Fit begins with a conversation about not only your body dimensions, but also your riding style and preferences. I will be glad to discuss your current position and any changes we can make to improve the quality of your ride. If you’re willing to make the trip to my shop we can go into even more detail. For those folks not in the area, most quality bike shops can help you with a professional fitting. I’m more than happy to take the numbers from a fit session and design a bike for you.

Paint & decal colors are a big part in making your bike a one-of-a-kind. Jason Sanchez has been doing amazing paint work right here in Milwaukee for years, and does all Ellis Cycles paint jobs. His past work includes a best in show from NAHBS, and he won’t disappoint.
